the grace and femininity she puts into her work mesmerisies me. i honestly became hyponised by her artworks. literally spent about 2 hours scanning every inch of her website, soaking in as much of her talent as i could.

artists like Amy Sol make me want to continue creating art for the rest of my life. her delicate style and nuetral tones- without forgetting all her adorable characters featured- all work together to create a magical fantasy story, only fit for the most dainty of princesses. her genre is known as 'cartoon-tainted abstract surrealism' in the art world. to me she paints what i wish the world could look like. she generally works on untreated wooden panels, incorporating the beautiful wooden texture and grain into her works, giving them a sense of warmth, a sense of life.

her work could inspire the most uninspired.

which makes Amy the most perfect person for me to discover right now.
